Minutes from the last meeting

7:40 Meeting called to order

Treasury report read and accepted

President reports;
No old business due to Christmas party last month.
Renewals need to be in by the 31st of January. After the 31st people on the waiting list will be allowed to join. Send in your renewal even if you don’t have your new AMA number to hold a spot in the membership. Your new Lakeland card will be sent when Boos receives a copy of your AMA card.
Short discussion regarding the position of the new fencing. Please don’t take it upon your selves to move the fencing. It is meant as a barrier between the field and the pit area.
There will be the typical field clean-up in the spring. We also plan to clean up around the gate area, the area surrounding the port-a-john, and cut the grass surrounding the field to the highest possible setting on the mower ~6”. We will get the field rolled this spring and get a load of topsoil to patch the ruts in the runway.
The problems at BCMA aren’t settled yet, contrary to what was said by Mr. Beshar. There is no predicted opening at this time again contrary to what we were told.
Sunday, Jan.17, the executive board met This years budget was discussed, the position of the fences and possibly moving the pit area towards the center of the runway. It was decided that the pit area would stay where it is.
The AMA sent the club a letter regarding membership declining. They went the clubs to be more proactive in bringing in new AMA members.
Next month there will be a working with fiberglass workshop lasting approx 20 minutes. The following month something about Lipo batteries.

Happy New Year from the President

Another year is come up and looking forward to a great one of flying and fun. Thanks to Lloyd Robinson all the information about the club will be at your finger tips. Lets all enjoy it and l have a good year.
